The Berks Mark Comms story so far…

I do enjoy a productive day in “The Masonic Office”. So the Berks Mark Comms team have hit the ground running, we are aiming to publish the first provincial newsletter this month. We are currently collating content, if you have content you would like to contribute we would be delighted to receive it. We hope the newsletter will be well received by the membership and also help keeping members in touch who are not able to get “out and about” much. Membership engagement is top on my list of priorities, a version of the newsletter will also be sent externally to non members and organisations who have an interest in our province.

We have updated the provincial logo and designed a set of individual logos for many uses throughout the province. This will hopefully develop a common theme with various publications and online posts.

You will notice us using the title “Make Your Mark” for many projects. Our Make Your Mark Club is a new initiative lead by the comms team. The MYM club committee will organise a range of social events for our members, potential members, families and friends to enjoy. The committee will also organise educational evenings for members.

The comms team will be looking at recruitment and making information available for all considering joining the Mark degree. We will actively assist in providing information to all who would like it. We are keen to encourage Master Masons to consider joining us at a time the is right for them. What is important to us is that they join when they are ready, at whatever stage in their “Masonic career”. We will always be here to welcome new members.

We are actively recruiting new members of the comms team, please get in touch if you would like to assist us. Full training will be given.

Our social media use and engagement has increased. Our members are enjoying a dedicated WhatsApp and Facebook members group. These provide the perfect opportunity to share information of meetings and events for all to enjoy.

That’s all for this quick update. Many projects are in the pipeline for the comms team, you will certainly be hearing from us!!

Mark well!!
